T I p s  F o r  E n j o y I n g  t h e  F e s t i v a l

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or low beach chairs on which to sit.  However, with chairs, please be considerate of other patrons by limiting obstruction of their view as much as possible. 

Other things to consider bringing to the festival include food and drink, insect repellent, and hand sanitizer.

Grab some takeout from one of these eateries and have a picnic dinner before the movie. Make a night of it downtown. (Please check restaurant hours.)

RCE Theaters will be providing concessions this year -- authentic movie theater popcorn and other concessions.

No alcohol or pets are allowed.  Umbrellas and grilling are also prohibited in the festival area.

If you must smoke, please do so in an area away from patrons.

Mariners’ Wharf Film Festival 2023 is a project of Elizabeth City Downtown, Inc., A Revitalization Corporation and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in partnership with RCE Theaters.  Established in 1988, ECDI’s mission is to serve the entire community by acting as a catalyst for the revitalization of downtown Elizabeth City and its waterfront, while preserving its historical and architectural character.
